TEAMcard is pleased to announce a new agreement with West Bromwich Albion Football Club, who have selected TEAMcard to power stadium access control at The Hawthorns from the 2025/26 season onward.

As part of the agreement, TEAMcard will deliver a modern, integrated access control system supporting entry on match days, delivering enhanced operational control, greater access to fan data and a better overall fan experience.

The decision follows a thorough review process by the club’s ticketing and operations teams, who were seeking a future-proof solution.

A Step Forward in Access Control

“We’re thrilled to be working with West Bromwich Albion,” said Ben Phillips, Head of Sales & Marketing at TEAMcard. “The club has a proud history, a loyal fanbase, and a clear focus on improving supporter experience through smart investment in technology. We’re excited to bring our expertise to The Hawthorns and support their ambitions for a modernised, efficient match day operation.”

Jo Barr, Head of Ticketing at West Bromwich Albion, added:

“We’re really pleased to be signing with TEAMcard. From the moment we began reviewing the system, it was clear how advanced their solution is. Their people have been fantastic from the first day we engaged, and we are confident this upgrade will improve the experience for fans, make life easier for staff, and give us the tools to grow and adapt in the future.”

TEAMcard’s platform will enable real-time access management, improved control across turnstiles and hospitality areas, and better insight into match day flows and crowd behaviour. With a scalable and secure infrastructure, it’s designed to serve both Championship and Premier League-level demands.

This deal sees the Baggies join two other football clubs adopting TEAMcard access this summer, further cementing the organisations position as a trusted access control provider to major sports stadia and events.
