TeamCard has moved to brand new offices in the heart of our ancient town of St Andrews. After sixteen years in the Technology Centre, we seized upon a rare opportunity to buy custom built premises which we have aptly named “Horizon House”. We took up residency on 17th November. TeamCard wins The Open! (September 2016)

TeamCard has won the tender for the provision of the Access Control solution for the Open (R&A Championships Ltd) for the next five years. The Open is the oldest and most prestigious championship in professional golf, held annually during the month of July. MCC – Season One Success at Lord’s (September 2016)

The 2016 cricket season at Lord’s was a first for TeamCard in terms of managing a venue where the ticketholders wish to enter the venue, exit the venue and return later. The significance for the TeamCard solution is that the ticket validity must be maintained in terms of disablement and re-enablement whilst maintaining security and fraud detection. TeamCard Wins Innovation Award. (September 2016)

TeamCard has been awarded the prestigious Technology Innovator Award for 2016. Following on from the successful deployment of our new “Android” access control system at Charlton Athletic FC, we were nominated in May 2016. In September, it was announced that TeamCard had won the category “Best for Sports Card System Design Solutions” out of submissions from across the world. This is a real achievement for the company and a justified accolade for the whole team at Scotcomms.

Hull City Tigers Upgraded to TeamCard’s Latest Android Solution (July 2016)

Hull’s KCOM Stadium has been upgraded with TeamCard’s new Android access control units deployed at all turnstiles. Having seen the added features and benefits offered by TeamCard’s latest Android head-units, the club decided to upgrade the entire stadium in time for the 2016 season start in August.
